Hello guys,

I have a question about loxone gate controller function block. What I want to achieve: I have a KNX switch, which when is pressed longer time triggers gate contact 0.5sec and then after 10 seconds delay it triggers it again for 0.5sec. If the button on KNX switch is pressed for short time it only triggers the contact for 0.5sec. I think I need to do this logic with gate controller block but couldn't find information about output states when trigger input is active. My guess is I should put the longer press input to the "Tr" input and the shorter press to the input of "St", but I don't know if it will work correctly, because triggering the contact could not only stop the gate but also start moving it other direction if triggered after stop. I know this is pretty simple and propably very easy to do, but I don't have access to client's house right now and I need to do it remotely so I don't want to play around with and do it correctly. Maybe someone has done something like this and could give me a hint?

Thank You.

Hi,

I'm not 100% clear on your requirement but if seems you have a single pulse from a KNX switch, which you want to immediately trigger a single pulse to your gate controller, and then after a 10 second delay, you want to trigger another pulse to your gate controller. Is that correct?

If that's what you want, simply connect a 'delayed pulse' block to the KNX switch, with a delay time of 10s. You can trigger both this block and the 'immediate' pulse from the same KNX switch input.

Or have I misunderstood your requirement? I don't see what this has to do with the gate controller TBH.
