I've got some vertical blinds and the 'blind' controller doesn't appear to do what the 'help' box says it does. I think the Blind controller only imagines 'venetian' horizontal blinds but they're effectively the same. They can be open, closed or turned at 90 deg to window so letting light in ('shade' in config terminology)
the Help file says "Shading input. Completely close Blinds (using closing duration Td) then drive in opposite direction (using duration Tr) to put slats in a horizontal position.
In the case of shutter or curtain mode move to preset value (percentage)."
But it doesn't - if i manually fully close the blind the Shade trigger sets it to 90% which is what i need. However, if they're part open and i trigger shade they stop closing at 90% - they do NOT fully close and then back off.
I have mine set as a 'curtain opening left (type 4) so that the app animation matches how they move/hang. If i use type 1 (blinds) the visualisation will be up down not opening to the right. So it looks like i can have a correct vis or correct operation. But i should be able to fix it with config
So if they are open or part open i need a config that -
- triggers 'cd' in the blinds block
- monitors Aqp and when Aqp reaches 1 triggers shade input on blind block
I started with an 'equal' block but i cant' think how to get a 'sticky' input for it that resets when the equal block has sent a pulse.
