Hello,

Just picked up one of these to tinker with... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162864231159

Works as expected via its web server/browser but I'm struggling to have loxone talk to it.

Can anyone suggest the correct virtual ouput settings based on this rather sketchy document: www.thanksbuyer.com/download/35585-TCP-Relay-Protocol-V1.0.pdf

Cheers
James

I did all my prototyping of reading/writing http requests using postman https://www.getpostman.com/ (same program that Loxone used in their documentation). Doesn't answer your question but will be quicker to figure out what is going on!

Thanks for the pointer John.

In fact all it took was re-read of the virtual output doc to set the address to tcp://<ipaddress> rather than http.

Start off thinking this might be a cheap alternative to a Nano Air or smart socket but it needs a wired network connection plus a power supply and a box so cost starts going up.

Still an interesting option.  Would be good to know power consumption and ease of set up/reliability.

Haven't measured power consumption but setup was straightforward;

Virtual output, Address: tcp://<ipaddress>:<port>

Virtual output command (Relay 1); Command for ON: L1 \r\n  Command for OFF D1 \r\n

L2/D2 for relay 2, etc

Cheers
James
