Has anyone used the touch switches? Looking at touch tree pure and touch tree and was wondering what kind of box they will work with? I was guessing they normally go in two gang boxes? Would it look terribly ugly if I had a three gang box and used this with blank plate(s)? Unfortunately the Loxone website has no details about mounting to a box even though this is a wired device.

Also open to suggestions for similar devices that are better that I can easily get in the USA, thanks for the help!

Alex,

the Loxone Touch and Touch Pure (Tree, Air and Air-Nano version) is build for the European standard Box (62mm) but that's not fitting for the US gang Boxes.
We are aware of this topic and will release a back board which will fit on a 1-gang and on a 2-gang US box where you can mount the Touch on after.
This will be a white plate and you will not see any screws or something like this.

There is no exact date yet for the release but it will be in the next 2-3 month.

If you need further details or assistants just get in touch with our Team.

Best Regards
Stefan

Thanks Stefan, does this mean that in the USA that the back of the Touch will be flush with the wall? If I ordered one or two touches now to test with I am hoping I will be able to get the backplates separately?

Thanks for the informations!

Alex,
sorry for my late response.

it will be a metal bracket powdered white with about 3mm. It could be but then you have to mount the Gang box a bit different. A other possibility would be to not use any back box.
Yes you already can order them. This back plate will be a additional item.

If you need further assistance just sent a mail to off...@loxone.com or sup...@loxone.com . We are happy to help.
