All,

With most solutions available I run into the loxone limitation of 5 (sometimes even 10) seconds interval for updates. I want to go for a zero grid usage pattern and this frequency is not sufficient, I need a much higher frequency. I wonder if the tree energy meter (with CT clamps) actually provide the option to have much more frequent updates (E.g. one second interval).

This is not very clear from the loxone documentaiton, hopefully there's some experience in this group.

You can go as low as 0.1s for each transmission cycle (energy and power) on the 40mA CT clamp energy meter.

As David says 0.1s is the minimum value allowed in config for both the CT and direct measure meters - the question is what are you trying to control and how?

If you are controlling an inverter / battery via the cloud then the update cycle of most them is measured in high numbers of seconds and some even as much as minutes in order for them to respond to external commands.

Even with direct / local TCP control most inverters will need a second or two to action commands.

Most energy optimisation schemes also have a level of hysteresis built in to account for passing clouds or momentary shading not causing unnecessary switching or excessive numbers of commands being sent around.

I would be interested in more details as everything I have looked at thus far suggests that getting "Zero grid" (unless properly off grid, which comes with another set of compromises) isn't achievable with real world living. but you can get very close - which is then more than offset by smart export financial gains.
