Hi,

I'm having problems with my Loxone intercom Gen 1 where I cannot get video on my app when I'm on my wifi network. When disconnecting from Wifi and using 4G it works fine. So the external access and port-forward work fine, but when I'm trying to reach the same IP over an internal network, it doesnt work.

Any ideas? I'm using an Ubiquiti UDM-Pro as router and I have my Loxone on a different VLAN, but there are no firewall rules in place. Also, when I switch to the wifi of the loxone VLAN I still do not get any video.

Thanks!

I can give little real advice on this but I've had various issues with my intercom over the years and there was some issue that needed a weird firmware update (that required Loxone support rather than a DIY).

(current issue is that it periodically drops the SIP audio connection and needs a reboot to reconnect.  It didn't previously do that, and nothing has changed in my network or settings.)

Try to update the intercom both on the video and audio sides. I have also had several problems but seems better now after the last update from loxone.

https://www.loxone.com/enen/kb/intercom-intercom-xl/ description for how to update here.

FYI, with Loxone Config 12.2.12.1 I am seeing some 'odd' stuff with network connection. I think they did something bad with the TCP stack. Eg. I see slow HTTP comms (see https://groups.google.com/g/loxone-english/c/HlAcnQZkyU4) & stuff like this in the debug log:

> 00001006 10.1.1.20 08:27:59.015 08:30:10.136 ARP Incoming TCP packet from 10.1.1.1 has different MAC 70:4F:57:10:06:10 - 70:4F:57:10:06:10

Erm... that MAC doesn't look any different to me!

I have it running a the same VLAN now as my secure network, even though I didnt want that. Was the only way to make it work. For some reason the Loxone app doesn't accept traffic from a different VLAN, even though there were no firewall rules in place yet (so no restrictions from one VLAN to the other).

Hi Rob. I'm not talking about updating the loxone config version but the SW/FW for the video and audio module on the intercom. Thanks for information about the Loxone config anyways.
