Loxone as KNX gateway

Good evening, everyone.

a client owns a house entirely under KNX for its lights and shutters.

Unfortunately the programming has been done in gameboy mode (TX100) and has not been documented.

The customer would like to'modify' his installation to get closer to the Loxone standard: 1 button for the lights and 2 for the shutters in each room. 

Does anyone know if I can hope to do this configuration by adding an IP gateway miniser for KNX?

In short, I need to be able to delete the existing programming and redo it.

the customer cannot replace the existing KNX (much too expensive).

I have integrated the Miniserver in KNX instalations with no problems, using It as IP gateway for LAN and WAN programming and also as user visual interface.
Not easy, but works really well.
It Will be more difficult to get a list of group directions and its use. Try the software Reconstruction.

What does mean 'software reconstruction' ? does it need ETS ?

Or would I be able to find the addresses in the KNX monitor of the Loxone Config?

you can find the Reconstruction app here:

It’s an app for ETS so it does require ETS app and I guess also a licence if you have more than 20 devices.

The app reads the programming of the actuators and tries to create a knxproj file out of it - without names.

You then just need to manually name the group addresses.

You could of course also use the KNX monitor in Loxone Config but could miss a lot of addresses which are not accessible over wall switches.
