Hey! :)

We are starting this thread to open a debate with you guys.

For the past few months, we were heavily engaged in multiple Smart Home forums, debating about technical configurations, best use-cases and the future of Smart living.

Our Voice Control product received many comments - all of them were heard loud and clear. Many of them are already incorporated into our products. Some of them will be.

So, today, we are delighted to announce we are adding an On-Premise extension  [https://www.voxior.com/on-premise] to our portfolio.

The On-Premise extension is bringing an additional layer of security on one side and on the other side it is also presenting a huge opportunity for expanding functionalities.

A possible vision of the future and where to go next we’ve shared in this article [https://www.voxior.com/single-post/2017/12/05/Voxior-Expands-from-Voice-Control-to-IoT-Connectivity-and-OEM-Partnerships] and now we would love to include you in the process.

To pick your brains a little bit - what do you see in the perfect Smart Home of the future? Is it a marriage between bus-based solutions and the world of IoT gadgets? How is the Smart Home supposed to adapt to you through different lifestyles and phases of life? How can we simplify our Smart homes?

We are looking forward to hearing your opinion -  this will help us create better products tailored to your needs. At the same time, we would like to thank you for your support - and for making sure that tomorrow happens today!

I consider this post spam (marketing). Anyone else?

Maybe spam to some extent, but I find it very interesting and would love to know more, so I guess it worked!

Yes, this is three or four threads they've started now.

Voxier - can you please stop this or we will ask the admins to ban you.

Start a single thread - "Voxier voice control for Loxone - discussion" and keep the discussion on there.  Please don't keep starting multiple 'discussion' threads that are actually marketing.

I agree with Simon here. A thinly veiled attempt at discussion that translates into sales and marketing by any other name.

Hey Guys,

Please don't take it this way.

Do some of our posts result in a sale later on? Of course, but this is not the point of why we are here.

We really want to open a debate. Our process of product development is heavily user-centric - and this is the main reason we post stuff on forums/social groups. We really want to hear what you have to say - so we can adapt it and create a tailor fit product for our customers. Afterall, this is how the On-Premise extension was developed.

And now, with the On-Premise extension - there are multiple directions in which we could go. So we are once again, turning to you for advice - as it doesn't make sense to develop something that people wouldn't want.

At the same time, as we came to acknowledged - most of you are very technically capable - so we thought it would be fun for you to engage in our product development process. Think of it, as if we are giving you the position of our product manager during the course of this debate ;)

Hope you understand - and I would encourage you again to share your opinion on what should be next.

Thanks,
Rok
