Loxone and Sonos after update to 8.1.11

Hi all,

first of all nice job setting up the group. Thx for that.

I have a question.

This week I update my loxone installation from7.4 to 8.1.11. My Sd card was broken and had to buy a new one (which comes with the latest version)

Before the update my sonos buttons/alarm where working well.

I have a button which set the radio station on the sonos and then plays it. the same goes when I turn of my alarm then the sonos will play to. And in the morning when it is time to wake up lights goes on and the Sonos plays the radio.

All of this is not working any more after the update to 8.1.11. It just plays for 2 sec and than nothing more.

Who is also on version 8.1.11 and is your setup still working?

Hi, I am on 8.1.11.11 and all working well. I also have virtual outputs to Sonos.

Is it only Sonos interfaces that are not working?

I know Sonos released an update, but am not aware it changed any of its interface commands.

Hi David,

I have created the predefined virtual device "sonos"

Enter my ip of the sonos to play on

added the button function block and connected the Sonos play function to the output.

When i hit the button on the loxone app or even the physical button (connected to the function block) I got music for 2 sec.

My Sonos is up to date with the latest version.

Could you send me the connection string for the play action or even your config file for loxone. Just the audio part :-)

Ok I found the problem.

Before I had a function block "convert to puls" on which I had Qon =  play and Qoff = Stop. For some reason he did both after the update to 8.11.

I have created a function block "convert to puls A" which set a que and triggers an other "convrt to puls B" to play the sonos. On the function block B I set the Qoff to stop the sonos.
