I have a Yamaha RX-V677 receiver for which Loxone config has the virtual output already pre-configured. I’d like to use the media controller to play internet radio from the 2nd zone of audio that this receiver is capable of. I have the IP address configured correctly and can control the unit for switching but when I send the commands to power on zone 2 and play internet radio via zone 2 the receiver turns on and does play internet radio but in the main zone. Inside the media controller the commands I have configured to be sent for ‘Change to Mode’ are:
Output ‘Yamaha AVR->Zone 2 Power On’
Output ‘Yamaha AVR->Zone 2 Internet Radio’
I have checked that the serial strings sent are different:
Main Zone - @MAIN:PWR=On\x0d\x0a
@MAIN:INP=NET RADIO\x0d\x0a
Zone 2 - @ZONE2:PWR=On\x0d\x0a
@ZONE2:INP=NET RADIO\x0d\x0a
When I send the commands for the main zone it works as intended. I can turn on Zone 2 using the buttons on the front of the unit, showing a different set of lights and controls from when the main zone is on, but don’t think I can using the remote (which rules out using IR). Anyone had any experience controlling this unit?
