Hello,

Sorry to bother you with this rudimentary question.

I have this "Uncorrected input value" on the page under the DMX extension.

I am using the DMX302 dimmers and the Dimmer block.

Any tip would be greatly appreciated.

Stefan

i get that on all my dmx outputs and they are working normally, so it appears to be a default normal comment

Thanks Duncan,

I checked again and it actually works , I guess I should have checked better and ignored any error message :-)

Another thing about these dimming the neutral. Why not switch N and L on input? Both are isolated with no relation to ground anyways. It is AC after all.

Thank You Again

fwiw in the UK the neutral is in relation to the 'ground' and they are tied together (dependant on the system tnc-s / pme)..

the 'neutral' output of the dmx302 isnt tied to ground - when the light is off, it is at live potential (same as the live) relative to the earth - the dimmer applies pwm to the neutral side between live (the lamp is off) and neutral/earth (the lamp is on)

you could try reversing the mains input and measure the pd between the neutral and earth at the output with the dimmer set to 0 - but i think youll find that it doesnt work

I’m not suggesting they are tied together in the dimmer..  I’m talking about at supply origin and dependant on the cable / supply arrangement then also in other locations.

Thanks,

I will test later, as long as we don't tell the dimmer I do not think it can tell the difference :-)

Thanks Stefan
