Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the doorbell camera and if there's a solution to my current issue.

In the setup I have a doorbell which uses a 'User defined intercom' with a URL to a JPG image stream from my IP cam above the door.  The camera connection works fine and I can see a continually updated stream of images as you would expect.

When the doorbell is activated the system functions as expected and alerts me on the app and allows me to open the page with an image stream from the camera.

However the problem lies in the historical list of doorbell activations and the image associated with it.  In most cases the image that is stored against each activation appears to be an image from the last time the camera was accessed on an app - this could be hours or even days ago.

Does anyone else have this issue?  Is there a resolution?

I'll put in a support request to loxone too.

Thanks!

A quick fix (actually not a fix) is to skip the picture and just stream it instead, is your camera capable of that? Also have you tested opening the url in your browser, does the same problem occur there? Then the issue might be in the camera settings.

Thanks for the suggestions:
  1. My camera supports the following: JPEG, FFmpeg, RTSP H264 (not mjpeg though which I believe is the required format)
  2. A similar situation occurs when I access the URL through the browser.  I don't think there are any URL params I can add to act as a cachebuster either.

I realise this is not the highest quality camera but I'm not sure this is a cam issue, its seems like a caching issue to me (but this may be at the cam end of course)

Thanks for any help.
