Hi ,

I have a Loxone system with fully integrated hard-wired mains powered blinds downstairs. I now wish to retrofit blinds upstairs which need to be battery operated. I have decided to go for Louvolite system 1100 motor power (Rechargeable Lithium batteries). These are controlled by
433.92 MHz wireless remotes. I would like, if possible, to integrate the control of these blinds with the Loxone system. One route is to adapt a Louvolite 5 channel remote (e.g. relays in parallel with the remote control switches) but I would prefer a more elegant solution.
I believe that UK automation do a 433.92 MHz transmitter ( RFXCom or the  RFXtrx433 ?) which I believe is compatible with Louvolite blinds but have little detailed information on this. Does anybody have any info on this device and how to connect it to the Loxone system. Any alternative suggestions would be gratefully received. I believe that Louvolite do a RS485 controller but this is about £500 - £600 as compared to £85 for the UK automation transmitter.

Thank you, Keith Emerson

Sorry - I don't have an answer for you - but which solution did you use for your hard-wired mains?
