Has anyone installed a non-Loxone power meter using the Modbus extension that did not happen to be one of the pre installed power meters that Loxone has provided templates for?

I purchased this power meter and got the Modbus protocol with the addresses.

I have the meter's basic parameters set (address, baud, parity, etc) both in the meter and in the software and cannot seem to establish the communication with the meter.

I've double checked the basic A, B and Gnd wiring and have the termination resistor across A&B at the meter.

I'm using just a single sensor set up to read the register in one of the voltage addresses 30201 per the meter documentation set at command 4 Read Input Register (3X) and the data type as a 32 bit floating.

Does anyone have a tip on setting up a generic meter like this?  Thanks!

Try reading the register below too. Naming modbus registers isn’t standardized so some manufacturers start at register 0 and some at 1.

Excellent idea - my meter address is set at 100 I changed the address in Loxone to 99 and messed around a bit with the sensor I/O settings but still not communicating.  I also tried lowering the the address of the register for example phase 1 to neutral voltage address 30001 so I tried 30000 and not seeing anything.  Just seems a bit odd.

I finally got it going - I simply deleted the power meter from the program and re-installed and configured it again and all is working perfectly.  Not sure why but that did the trick.  Thanks again for the idea of addressing.

By the way, I'm happy with the power meter - it has a lot of parameters that it can report.  Attached is the user manual as well as the Modbus Protocol which has a list of the parameters if anyone is interested.
