Hi there, hoping someone can help.

I m sure this is fairly straight forward but I have a KNX PIR and Glaser 2 wall switch controlling the kitchen/dining room lights.

When it's dark enough and the PIR picks you up it brings the lights on, I can then choose which scene I want on the switch.

This works perfectly 95%of the time however there is the odd occasion where I would like to be able to switch the lights on or off to ignore the input from the PIR.

This would be useful when the kids sit in there doing their homework as they are so still they do not activate the PIR, I could obviously increase the "on" time but I would prefer not to.

Kind Regards

TH sets the time for the lights to be on when brought on by the PIR

if you switch a light manually, the pir is ignored until the there has been no movement for the time set in MT so a setting of say 1800 (thats no movement at all for 30 mins) would then turn the light off automatically

so even if the pir has turned on the lights, you can use the switch which will override the TH setting and use the MT setting and then you can use the switch again to turn off the lights before MT if you want

Thanks Duncan

I'll try that this evening when the kids are out of the way.

You wouldn't happen to know if there is a way of setting a switch to override the lights in the off position as well?

It's not really important as it only comes up when the we are doing birthday cakes and want the lights off but the PIR keeps bringing them on.

thats easy - the DisM input disables the PIR function, so you can connect a virtual swich in the app to disable (or a real switch via an input, but it would have to be on/off not momentary)
