Was just checking in to see if Matter had progressed any further (I saw Shelly had a really cool looking matter-compatible mmWave presence sensor).

But it seems not.  So much undelivered promise.  My Eve matter blinds are great - they do their thing with a schedule (although its manual now - they broke the automated shading last summer and we're still waiting for the annual software/firmware update that might fix it).  I can ask Siri to open or close them and it works.  But the ONLY controls in the apple home app are open and close.  All the times/shading/favourite position etc need me to use the Eve app.

I bought an Ikea door sensor.  Less than £10. Great - it's matter, so I should be able to link that to one of my blinds so that if the sliding door is open the blind doesn't close.  There doesn't seem to be any way to do that.

Loxone haven't announced anything since the early experimental stuff from 3 years ago.

this sums it up pretty well

My guess 3 years ago was it'd be10 years before we see Matter interoperability maturing, and that still feels about right.
