Hi, I have a Philips LED bulb that need to be set to 46% on the 240v dimmer before it comes on. I therefore use the Corrections to say input/target 1 0=46 and input/target2 100=100. I noticed that when the bulb was off, the dimmer was still pumping out 50v. When I removed the setting it reduced to 7v (not sure why it's not 0v).The dimmer is the predecessor of those Chinese DMX ones [1].Has anyone else seen this on the corrections? Am I correct in thinking, that even if the bulb is off, it is still drawing electricity.
Right it seems to be working,
So replace the dimmer with a lighting controller if you want.
The scaler block is where you put in the correction. do not put the correction anywhere else.
Underneath is an analogue watchdog or Aatchdog block, set TU = 0.5, TL = 0.
The last block is a Multiplexer.
The above should allow proper 1% - 100% dimming of the bulb whilst fully turning off any voltage when set to zero.
