I've seen that there is a Netatmo and a wunderground Loxberry plugin. Anyone get other stations like Davis or whatever to work?

Hi,

I've successfully got wunderground forecasts working as described here: https://www.loxwiki.eu/display/LOX/Weather+Underground+%28Wunderground%29+direkt+in+Loxone+einbinden

Although Netatmo hardware looks interesting (especially the wind sensor) I refuse to buy one because they only work with the associated Internet Cloud service. If the box had a local API I could hit to read values directly would not hesitate to get one.

For something with a local API like that, I have heard working reports of the Renkforce WH2600 which can be found in various re-branded guises if you search for just 'WH2600'.

HTH,

Robin

wunderground have been taken over by IBM, who have removed the free api keys, so unless you already have a key then it wont work - you can subscribe at 850 per month if you like.....

Someone told me if you upload you can download. Basically you have to have a weather station to leverage wunderground.

I still think it is BS they take all that voluntary contribution and then monetize it. But it doesn't seem as bad as all that.

it would appear that if you upload data from your own station you can download your own data using their app, but not using the api to get data into loxone - how very generous of them!
