I have to install some additional extractor fans to comply with building regs but hate the way they tend to be single speed and especially disturbing at night when people use the bathrooms.
I wondered if it is possible to use a nano dimmer to vary the speed of the fan.

I don't think it will work, or it might but not very well. An alternative that I have done is simply program in Loxone that the fans do not come on after a certain time at night etc

It was just a thought but I like your simpler (and free) solution using a time setting, or maybe linking the disabling of the fans to when the house is in night mode.
