Hey again :)

Newbie question.....How do i integrate IP cameras to Loxone? i've got a 8 channel Hikvison Nvr i would like to add all cameras into loxone? The current ip address of cameras are starting at 192.168.254.12 but the router starts at 192.168.0.1 and goes to around 255 so i'm guessing the router cant see the cameras and therefore no can Loxone?

Thanks!!

Hi,
You should be able to address the IP cameras using the IP address of the NVR with a port number.
Assuming you NVR is 192.168.0.20  then you can get to the cameras using 192.168.0.20:65001 ie add a different port number to the NVR to access each of the the camera.
If in the NVR you goto configuration and camera management you will see the port number used for each camera.

Shout if you have problems.

Cheers David

Take a look at my posts at https://groups.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/loxone-english/cd_n67zE91w all the detail you need are there.

Ignore the bit on connecting the nvr network to your network as the cameras are directly addressable through the NVR unit.
