Hi

I have a small issue that I hope you guys can help.

I'm already using the Stairwell Light Switch block for controlling lights on the stairs, which works just fine.
But besides that I want to detect whether a person is going up or down the stairs, to turn on other lights at the ground level or the first floor depending on the direction.
I have a proximity sensor at the beginning (bottom) of the stairs and another sensor at the end (top).

I saw this thread a few days ago and got inspired to do something similar with a delayed pulse block, but I just can't seem to transfer that solution into my situation.

This is my current setup with the Stairwell Light Switch

I think I figured out something myself, by using Flipflop and Delayed pulse blocks.
I have split it in two parts (going up and down the stairs), and the Delayed pulse will make sure that if only one of the sensors is activated nothing will happen.
The delay of the Delayed pulse block should be long enough to walk to the second sensor after the first is hit.
If anyone has a simpler way of doing this, please let me know.

And for future reference, in case anyone else has a similar issue, here's my setup:
