What's your Plan B?

I almost hate to broach this subject, but it's an important consideration for future planning. In reference the posts below, what thought have you put into a fallback in the case Loxone becomes unavailable or otherwise become suitable for your project*?

Using low voltage switching and home running lighting, it's not going to be practical to go back to traditional branch circuits. My case, I'm thinking worst case relays and/or adapting a commercial PLC (which was my first concept before finding Loxone). Looks like a Vantage or Centralite system might also work, though Vantage is dealer only so it's not particularly appealing to me. *I don't plan to sell my house, but I could see this being a major issue if I ever did need to sell.

My understanding is that if you are star wiring you can move to KNX fairly easy. And otherwise you are basically quick using a European wiring (I am in the US).

I am just using regular US voltage light bulbs though. We don't have good options in GU10 bulbs here and I plan on using Ketra for lighting.

I'm in the US also, so using low voltage for switches and 120vac lighting.
