Since changing from BT to Vodaphone broadband which also meant swapping out the router, I am unable to open designated ports on the Vodaphone router.
Has anyone else experienced the same problem?
I haven’t been able to find a solution on Vodaphone forums and so called Tech help are hopeless.
I have been able to open a port (80) for the miniserver but no success for the CCTV cameras.

It has been suggested that I revert to the BT router which I would if I could talk to it. I disabled the WiFi option as I have hard wired WiFi hot spots via a switch. Plugging in a cable doesn’t seem to work.

Been through all the threads Duncan none of the suggestions seem to work. Vodaphone are history unless they provide a router with port forwarding functionality.

Might be worth considering a different router. Something like a Draytek which offers lots of flexibility. There is someone who has got a Draytek working with Vodafone broadband here:  https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Broadband-Home-Phone/WORKING-Own-Modem-Draytek-VSDL2-Modem-Router-with-Dynamic-DNS/td-p/2584660

If your router has a "modem mode" you can attach it to a wifi router of your choice without being reliant on the hardware supplied by your broadband provider.  I have a virgin media router set to modem mode, and connected to a Ljnksys Velop wifi system, which allows me to do everything I need without being reliant on the slow and inflexible Virgin wifi unit.

I have a crappy vodafone router and replaced it with a draytek (vodafone will give you the logon details if you have one of these [1] - or just say you do :o). However, I did set up something similar on my father in laws and it lets me log into a web admin console in house. This is what I did:

1) Goto 192.168.1.1
2) Log on
3) Top right, select Expert Mode
4) Select Internet from the top menu
5) Select Port Management on the side menu
6) Under the Port Mapping section press the +
7) Enter
 - Service: User Define
 - Service Name: Loxone-TCP
 - Device: No Specific Device (unless you can see the loxone mini server in the drop down)
 - Local IP Address: Enter the loxone IP address
 - Protocol: TCP
 - Select: Port
 - Public Port: Select any public port - eg 55880
 - Local Port: 80
 - Press Save
8) Do the same but for:
 - Service Name: Loxone-UDP
 - Protocol: UDP
 - Press Save
Press Apply

If you have a dynanic IP, you will need a subscription to something like www.no-ip.com and set that up on the router:
1) Goto 192.168.1.1
2) Log on
3) Top right, select Expert Mode
4) Select Internet from the top menu
5) Select DNS & DDNS on the side menu
6) Under the DDNS (Dynamic DNS)
7) Press the toggle
8) Select your DDNS provider from the drop down and enter your credentials
9) Press Apply

That should then provide the relevant access....
