Gents,

I have a standalone Texecom Premier alarm in my home and ofcourse a Loxone setup and alarm for areas not covered by the Texecom Alarm.

Currently I can set both the Texecom Alarms and reset both in tandem. However i am unable to figure out how to trigger the Texecom alarm if a Loxone Sensor is triggered?

The Bell Box and Internal Sounders are connected to the Texecom Panel, so currently if the alarms are on, and a Loxone sensor is trigger (where there isnt a texecom sensor), then all i get is a visual notification on the phone but the Texecom alarm doesnt sound the internal and external sounders, and this is what im trying to resolve.

BTW I have Loxone and Texecom connection via RS232 extension

Has anyone achieved something similar?

Regards

N

I have the same setup and requested the complete protocol details. Turns out you can only send keypresses which means you can't trigger the alarm externally through loxone (through RS232). I think there might be a technical workaround if you attach a loxone output to the alarm system as if it was a window contact but this needs extra wiring. I have to assume the alarm can foresee a panic button, and any loxone output can act like a button...

Hi, I am looking to integrate Loxone with my Texecom premier 88.

Do you guys have any documentation on how to send the key presses from Loxone to Texecom? Can you link one button (in the app) to activate the alarm? So, one virtual keypress = 123456 + enter ?

Any help would be much appreciated!

I know how to do this, but I have signed an NDA with texecom so can't really say :)

However what I can say is that the crestron protocol can be used on premier / premier elite panels to send your zone status to loxone from the panel.

There is also whats known as the "simple protocol" which is what you need - you can also send and recv simple whilst crestron is enabled on a com port too..

from a google - I found this https://github.com/Samyoue/TexecomVeraPlugin/blob/master/L_Texecom.lua#L578  which might point you in the correct direction.. Just ignore the fact its LUA and look more at what is happening :)

I would like to see if I can get the "connect protocol" working - but the cost of the miniserver is prohibitive at the moment :) - wonder if loxone will do discounts for extending functionality and blogging :)

Try this guide:

http://www.haggleysfarm.co.uk/documents/texecom_integration_vers1d00.pdf

A simple way to send multi key presses is to use multiple delayed pulse function blocks so it sends one key press then a second later the second and so on etc.
