I installed two GXV3610 Grandstream IP cameras a few years ago and they work perfectly with Loxone using the URL:

http://IP address:port/goform/stream?cmd=get&channel=4

Username and password as per set for the camera.

Moving on I've just purchased a Grandstream GSC3610 camera (the GXV is end of life and no longer available), which is set up and I can view the stream on my Browser using its web API. However,  no matter what I do, I cannot get a stream in Loxone.

As per the snapshot I've set the web access mode to HTTP as opposed to HTTPS which I recall Loxone cannot handle.
Ignore the blanks for the Web access port and RTSP port, they have been set.
In accordance with the manual I have set up for Challenge+Respond and when entering the suggested URL in my browser I do get the camera API login screen. But nothing in Loxone. I've also tried the Basic option and the associated URL and whilst that works in my PC browser, albeit not seamlessly, again nothing in Loxone. Any suggestions?

after http://username:password@ipaddress:port/....

Try that as the first part of the url string so it passes through the user and password. Loxone will not open a challenge and response prompt, it would need to do that each time you open the camera stream and it goes to make that external connection so it wouldn't be a workable solution anyway. Hopefully passing the creds through in the first part of the URL string as shown above does the trick for you.

Hi Aaron

I've changed the web access to 'Basic' from Challenge+Resond and also changed the URL to http://user:password:@IP Address:Port/jpeg/mjpeg.html.
No success.

I've tried removing the username and password from the Controller settings just in case, but that doesn't make any difference either.

Incidentally, I've also pasted this URL into my browser and I can view the stream, although for some reason it's not seamless, the time stamp freezes for a few seconds and then catches up, rinse and repeat.

Update - Success
Have read through the 70 page API guide which provides more detail on accessing the video stream. The URL using Basic access is:

http://username:password@IPaddress:Port/jpeg/stream=X

and not as stated in the manual

X is either 0 or 1 depending on which is the MJPEG stream (the camera has two streams which can be set to MJPEG H264 or H265. One of which has to be MJPEG for Loxone to handle

@S69 & any others that would not mind sharing ideas - I have a question (from pure ignorance on this subject).  What are you doing with the video feeds that get brought into Loxone?  Are you using them for an intercom / doorbell?  What do your interfaces look like - I'd love to see a screenshot.  I have some security cameras that I want to upgrade anyhow but I have never quite figured out what people are doing when they integrate them into Loxone but I'm always open to new ideas!  Thanks in advance!

See a previous post here showing our 4K Hikvision camera paired with a Grandstream SIP mic/speaker unit working alongside the code touch for doorbell/intercom in our setup. This is the only camera integrated into Loxone, the rest are just used via the NVR for recording, playback, event notification alerts etc.

We have three cameras, which feed into a NVR which is also connected to a Matrix, the cameras can be viewed on any television wired into the Matrix.
The NVR is purely for security purposes in the expectation (hope) that if anything untoward should happen we may have a recording. Actually I think the cameras themselves provide at the least some deterrent to burglars etc.
We also have two Doorbird video intercoms, which I wouldn't recommend by the way on the basis of poor sound quality. A Doorbird button push triggers a doorbell sound on our speakers. I imagine with a little bit of thought I should be able to switch the Matrix ouptut to the TVs so we can see who is at the door without having to look at a phone.
All of the cameras (including the Doorbirds) are also set up in Loxone so we can view the streams anywhere using the Loxone Cloud DNS service.
There's not much to show in terms of a snapshot,, the function blocks are just Door Controllers.

Hi, which matrix switcher do you have out of interest please and would you recommend it? Just started reviewing the market to get one for our nvr. Thanks

I have a Bluestream Matrix 4x4.
It's about 5 years old now and has performed flawlessly throughout. I imagine there's much newer models available.
I had intended to connect a PS4 at the time but then discovered after buying one, the controllers are bluetooth and not IR. The XBox controllers were IR at the time, so don't make that mistake, if planning to connect to a games console.
