We are happy to release some major news about the Voxior Platform.

1. Voxior Link - Public Beta

Voxior Link is a software installed on the Raspberry Pi device and connected to the server inside the local network. It provides an additional layer of security and also stores credentials locally.

At the same time Voxior Link will serve as an enabler for two additional products we will be launching soon:
*IoT marketplace (Coming in March - at first, we will be providing Philips Hue, Sonos & Logitech Harmony integrations. After that new integrations will be added based on user requests)
* Remote Access solution (Network security product coming by the end of March). It will enable outside connection to your server without the need for Port-Forwarding or VPN)

2. New Integrations - Public Beta

We are happy to announce we are extending our family of supported Gateways:
*KNX IP Router - explore the integration here.

I challenge Voxior to prove this. Setup my home with lighting, heating and blind control with no additional hardware.

Why block Voxior ????? they offer the easiest most straight forward solution for voice control of Loxone, I found them via this group and have been using their system for nearly a year now and it works exceptionally well !, 

I've even pointed existing clients in their direction who have set up voice control themselves with no technical knowledge. 

the guys at Voxior are extremely helpful and have allowed me to beta test their new Voxior Link software for free, I have also made numerous suggestions on better ways of doing things and they have worked hard to implement these features every time. 

They are now releasing another new feature which allows access to the miniserver without port forwarding which in my eyes as an installer is another great feature that Loxone don't provide. 

They dont make their pricing to public and offer installer discounts so even allow us installers to make a fairly decent margin on selling there products branded as our own. 

I don't see the harm in theses guys trying to create awareness of their product, if you dont like it just scroll past, its not as if there continuously spamming the group, just an occasional post to indicate what they have in the pipeline. 

Not everyone wants to spend hours and hours setting up openHAB and some might prefer a voice control solution thats set up and fully operational within a matter of minutes. 

As I mentioned earlier i found Voxior via this group and wouldnt have if they were banned in the first instance !!!

Agreed that Voxior is a great solution. What is not great is the subject line "What is the future of Smart Home control?" and the content that seems to be copied from an advertisement.

It would be much more appropriate for the company to start a discussion around "Official Voxior Feature and Support Thread" instead of off-target marketing attempts.

I'd also like to protest against Voxior being banned from this forum. For what it's worth, I have no commercial link to the business and use the Voxior Link service on a Raspberry Pi.

I've been keen to get voice control of my Loxone system using Google Home for some time. This thread on OpenHAB describes the mis-adventures of trying to set it up (and it's still not properly supported by Google)!

Suffice to say, the Voxior product currently provides the only proven and easy method to integrate Google Home and a Loxone system. I heard about Voxior on this forum and am glad for it!

I agree, the topic of the thread could be changed to something less of 'click-bait'. But the forum serves to assist users with their Loxone system.... and Voxior legitimately qualifies.

The moderator of the forum has warned Voxior about their behaviour. They did not adjust their behaviour. Many people complained about Voxior's advertising posts, double posts etc.

If Voxior agrees to keep their posts non-commercial, in one thread, then I'm sure they can return. However, if they wish to bombard us with a constant barrage of "aren't we wonderful, see what we can do next" without contributing to the general Loxone knowledge, they should invest in making their own support forum.

You all know about them. You know where to find them. Mission complete.

If the goal of this forum is to grow the loxone community, commercial products / plugins are part of it.
