Hi folks

I have an installation with 4 Lillin cameras. All cameras have been assigned static IP addresses on the router its a BT home hub.

The issue is that 2 of the cameras seem to drop off.  When all cameras plugged into the network and you do IP scan all 4 cameras can be found, after a while 2 of the cameras drop off always the same 2.  If you carry out a new IP scan those cameras can no longer be found.

If you unplug them and plug then in again they become visible again on the same IP address they were given - they stay visible for a while and then drop off again....

This is really stumping me and ideas gratefully recieved.

Are they connected to a POE Switch or directly to an AC adapter?

Seems to me a Camera problem more than a router, I will try to check first power supply make sure is working fine, swap it between the cameras that work ok. Second check the firmware version of the camera compare it too with the cameras that work ok.

That is what I can think of to start trouble shooting.

They're connected via a PoE switch - I will check the firmware version.

Thanks for your input

You could use the ping monitor in loxone to check the status in a log.
Then trigger an action, for example switch a relay.

Could also be caused by heavy network traffic (mostly multicast overflow) Some Ip camera's can't handle this.
You could consider using some network tools to monitor the status of ping reaction
