Hello Everybody,
I'm beginning to discover Loxone these days. What really makes me wonder is Liveview. I can't figure out how to flip a switch/trigger an action from there (like I do in simulation). Is it really supposed to be only a live overview of system or did I miss something? If it is read/only, don't you also think that it would be very useful to allow same input behavior as in Simulation?

Thanks,
  Aleš

It is read only, and I agree it would make testing a lot easier if we could manipulate inputs.

I might be wrong but if you click 'Simulation on PC' then you can manipulate some inputs.
Sometimes I also open web-browser on the same screen and watch liveview while switching things in browser.

Simulation on PC simulates, Which means you can't check if the cabling is correct and everything actually works.
Switching in liveview would be great!

One way to do this is to create some virtual inputs, assign them to an 'unused' category/room (mine is renamed as test).

I then move them to the page I need them on and trigger them from the web interface or app.

Thanks for the virtual input workaround. It'll have to do it, for now. I have sent a feature request to Loxone, however who knows if they listen...

So it seems they do listen: Loxone Config v8 allows triggering of (at least some = virtual inputs) actions directly. Check the link for details. I haven't tried yet, though.
