Went to bed watching Netflix, then awoke a few hours later to find that Firefox had auto updated to 34.0.5 and that I could no longer access any Netflix video... I receive a Netflix Error Code N8152, which refers to a DRM/Silverlight error. Netflix continues to work properly in IE and Chrome.

Following Netflix's instructions, I've uninstalled/reinstalled Silverlight multiple times (making sure I have the newest version). I've verified that Silverlight plug-in is set to "Always Activate" and that it is "Allowed" and Enabled for Netflix.com. (I have also followed all of Netflix's other troubleshooting tips, even though I know they are not relevant, such disabling virus protection software, and adding Netflix.com as a trusted site, etc...

hi tommyj1112, microsoft has released a defective update for silverlight through the monthly patchday yesterday (and disabled it again afterwards). can you try this fixit tool to restore your installation or else reinstall silverlight manually?

I have the same problem. I follow Philipps chosen solution several times but still "netflix" is not working. It works with "explorer" and with "chrome" because (as the guys at "netflix" told me) those two browsers do not use the silverlight "plug-in.But I do not want to use anything but "firefox".

After logging in and seeing all of my profiles and movies I tried to play one of them and was asked to install widevine cdm module which is 2Gb and after downloading I saw that is will be extracted and eventually saw success message.

The latest widevine needs a newer version of inputstream.adaptive (2.2.27), we fixed this last night inputstream.adaptive: update to 2.2.27 LibreELEC/LibreELEC.tv@47767b9 GitHub) but it could take a bit until the addon is rebuilt for all architectures and available from the LibreELEC addon repository.

since a few days, Maxdome and SkyGo addons both stopped playing content on my Pi 3B+, so I tried to install your new version of the inputstream adaptive addon. But I only get the following error message:

ERROR: CAddonInstallJob[inputstream.adaptive]: The dependency on kodi.binary.global.filesystem version 1.0.2 could not be satisfied.

Sorry for the noob question. how ever I am at my wits end over this netflix addon.
I am on a pi 3b, add the repo, try to install the addon but no go

dependency issue with crypo "something"....

Any and all help would be much appreciated

I installed LE LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-8.95.002.img on mini pc and want to install netflix addon, is this addon suitable for GitHub - asciidisco/plugin.video.netflix: Inputstream based Netflix plugin for Kodi ?

I'm very thankful for the addon, and it mostly works pretty great. This isn't such a big deal, but it can become annoying having to change language and subtitles each time you start a new show, specially if you're binge watching.

Hi all, strange problem here: Netflix always used to work fine through firefox, absolutely no problem. Today, hoever, trying to access netflix.com through firefox times out and gives me a "server not found" error. Trying to ping netflix.com results in 100% packet loss. However, I am able to load the netflix page in chromium. I don't want to use chromium to watch netflix - I'm at a loss as to why it no longer works in firefox.

So far nothing has worked and I'm really at a loss as to why I get 100% packet loss on the ping, considering the page loads in chromium, and also loads in windowsfirefox , and works fine on my phone which is connected via wifi, both in hte official android app and in android firefox.

As it turns out, enabling DNS over HTTPS fixed the issue. Pretty weird one though. I understand it has something to do with Netflix denying requests to clients it thinks are spoofing IP addresses or something? Pretty dodgy service model if you ask me. Ho hum.
