Residents, and Associates:

Dear Members and Friends,

It’s (finally) coming! It’s time to be heard at the State Capital!

To defeat the controversial Hospitality Taxing Zone, Thursday morning
please join your neighbors as we head to the Senate Local & Municipal
Affairs Committee in the Baton Rouge Legislature! The compromises have
not been (nearly) enough. Send the Hospitality Zone back to the
drawing board!

No one likes new taxes – but the greatest concern is the creation of a
mega business-dominated “Super Board” to make decisions about the
future of the French Quarter and downtown neighborhoods.

JOIN US: 7:45 AM, Thursday, 5/17/12 at:

The Decadence Shoppe at 806 N. Rampart (next door to the VCPORA
office).

Coffee and pastries provided! Transportation provided! Lunch provided!
The main thing we need is YOU!!

Please RSVP now to in...@vcpora.org

P.S. Whether you can make it or not, please e-mail the following
elected officials now! Just cut/paste these e-mail addresses to OPPOSE
the Hospitality Tax Zone:
