The Louisiana State Museum and the Louisiana Museum Foundation proudly present author and historian Sally Asher in a special interactive lecture marking the 80th anniversary of the end of Prohibition. The night will also include a cameo by New Orleans' burlesque artist Trixie Minx, plus dramatic readings by Mikko, Veronica Russell, and Andrew Ward. [Note: Ms. Asher's presentation re: The Mascot newspaper last year was one of the best I've attended in recent memory (lively, informative, and funny); this one promises to be as interesting and enjoyable!]
