KEEPING WOMEN OFF THE STREETS
At the New Orleans Mission, we are continuing our building renovations to help keep women off the streets and out of danger.
Consider:
- Every night, homeless women on the streets of New Orleans are victims of rape and abuse.
- Every night, between 30 - 45 women seek shelter from the New Orleans Mission.
- Every night, we have to turn away women because of lack of space.
We
are working to expand the women's facility so we will never have to
turn away another woman for lack of space. We also provide these women
with food, clothing, care and hope though the love of Christ. You can
help! Projects still in the works include:
- Installing new security cameras for the building
- Purchasing 9 sets of bunk beds with drawers
- Renovation Bathrooms
- Converting area into office space for staff member to support and help women
In
order to expand the women's space at the shelter, we need your prayers
and financial support. Please donate today to help us free these women
from the dangers of the street and transform their lives.
