Dear Friends,

I'm passing along a request from Hilltop Hanover Farm for volunteers on Thursday; please forgive me if you've seen it in other places.  See details below.

It would be great if we could build a little momentum in our Lower Hudson group and HHF is a great candidate.  I know mid-week Mobs are tricky for a lot of people, as is short notice.  Please make the effort if you can!

I do want to assure you that each time I send an invitation, there is a farmer with fingers crossed that it will yield a little help.  The labor involved in the kind of agriculture we support with Crop Mobs is pretty intense.  You help IS hugely important to our continued success.

Please respond to this invite if you can make it so I know how many Mobbers we're sending!

Warmly,
Deb

Dear Deb,

If you have some free time to spend outside in our sunny, butterfly filled fields this Thursday - we'd be thrilled to see you!

Many hands make light work and we would love to have you join us Thursday, August 25, anytime between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weeding!  While I know weeding is not as exciting a prospect as harvesting, it's an essential element of farming!

Lunch will be served and children over 13 are welcome to join you.  When finished don't forget to stop by the U-Pick to bring home a complementary fresh bouquet of flowers!

Please give us a call at (914) 962-2368 or send an email to hhf....@gmail.com and let us know that you will be joining us.

Rain Date & Other Notes:

  • If we cancel we will advise you by email and post a note on the website.
  • Rain Date: Friday, August 26 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
  • Wear appropriate clothing and footwear, expect to get dirty!
  • Bring gloves, water, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses and whatever you need to make your day comfortable!

I look forward to seeing you and thank you in advance for your help and continued support!
