	La Finca Del Sur Community Farm 138th Street and Grand Concourse Harlem / Bronx border -- just a 15-minute ride from Midtown
	Hi All. Here's a great opportunity to see La Finca Del Sur! It's a 2.5 acre farm in the Bronx; the activities are varied and interesting.  There will be grilling! PLEASE!!!  If you respond with a "yes" and plans change, LET ME KNOW!  Just give me a call or an email if you decide you can't make it. It's the right thing to do for the folks who are waiting for you at the farm. Thanks! Here are the details: ______ La Finca Del Sur (2.5 acre farm located in nyc) - Midsummer Farm Workday Come help the members and farmers of La Finca del Sur spruce up the farm and prepare for fall! Projects will range from construction and clean-up to planting and weeding. We need to build a grape arbor, put finishing touches on the greenhouse, plant fall crops, sheet mulch, tend the compost pile... the list goes on and on!  To top it all off and thank our volunteers, we will also fire up the grill at lunch time. Volunteers are welcome to bring potluck items to share, but it is by no means required. Date: Saturday, August 13, 2011 From 10:00 am to 4:00 pm ( NOTE: Come anytime/leave anytime - you’re not obligated to volunteer for the entire five hour shift - Feel free to volunteer for only two hours if desired – We’re flexible with the time.
