I haven't read this book, but the blurb sounds great:

"If any of you have been wondering Terry Herb (founder of
Containerist.com) has been up to, you are about to find out. He have
been working hard on a book project for some time now. It happens to
be a trade paperback guidebook entitled "No Building Codes". It is a
good read which will help the average owner-builder discover the last
remaining places in the USA where it is considered unnecessary to
build with no building codes!"
