Hi i want to implement this technology in Nepal, a developing country.
Can I get complete circuit design and cost estimation of ATA design so
that i can conviniently design and implement it and serve my people.
Its great to hear the concept of open hardware.

Thanx

Hi Devendra,

Unfortunately we have not developed the ATA yet so the design is not
available. However I will be working on this project later this year,
and hope to develop a prototype.

You may also find the Free Telephony project designs useful, for example
the IP04 4 port IP-PBX which is in commercial production but also
available as an open hardware design:

I have already surfed throughout ur site, and have analysed ip04 ip-
pbx.It is economically so high to afford in the context of existing
market demand.
Isn't there any alternative? Or have to wait for the completion of ur
economical 10$ ATA.
I am going to make a team to make economical ATA to serve our country
people. We may need ur technical help.

You could try off the shelf ATAs, they can sometimes be purchased for
$50.

Correct.

Sure, feel free to ask any questions. Tim and I actually met yesterday
and started doing some design work. Our first test is to write a PIC
program to loop back the A/D to the PWM port to check that the PIC can
provide the audio quality needed.
