This month we have some work in two group shows

Facture

AIRPLANE presents Facture, a group exhibition guest-curated by Eileen
Jeng. Combining a handmade aesthetic with a range of materials, the
works in this show manipulate spatial perception and challenge the
distinctions between sculpture, painting, photography, and video.
Through their formal qualities, along with personal, cultural, and
technological references, the works evoke questions about the
physicality of the art object. Facture includes work by Hector Arce-
Espasas, Jeremy Couillard, Amy Feldman, Elana Herzog, Gisela Insuaste,
Jessica Labatte, LoVid, Heather Rasmussen, and Jamil Yamani.

AIRPLANE is located at 70 Jefferson Street in Brooklyn. The gallery is

Born Digital, invites visitors to physically explore digital culture
and movement-driven artwork—to exercise their creativity and act on
their curiosity. Featured Designers and Artists include: Advanced
Media Lab, Jacob Ciocci, R. Luke DuBois, Channel TWo, Brent Green,
Ajay Kurian, LoVid, Cole Pierce, Dennis Rosenfeld, Daniel Rozin,
Scenocosme, and Karolina Sobecka. Born Digital is curated by Elysia
Borowy-Reeder.
