The LOCATIONS of TREASURES – for study, prayer & discussion

One of the focal interests of mortals, by instinct, is to acquire and store treasures. Mortals are also, usually, diligent in seeking for 'secured' locations for their treasures; thereby making the exact location of a treasure, as important as the treasure itself, as far as mortals are concerned. Logically, therefore, man always has a natural affinity for the location of his treasures. For instance, if a person greatly cherishes, or values, or adores a thing; example money, riches, fortune, gold etc; and it's lodged at a location, obviously, there will be an inseparable attachment of that person to that particular location. Hence, knowing the location of man's treasure is very easy; all you need to do is to look for some key signals.  A few of them are listed below.

Key Signals

1.  The first signal is that; the person makes, extraordinary, frequent CONTACTS with that location, as compared to other similar places, example; a particular bank or company.

2.  Secondly, the person exhibits extraordinary LOVE for the location of his or her treasure, example; a life partner.

3.  Thirdly, the person exhibits extraordinary LOYALTY or allegiance to the location of his or her treasure, example; a country.

4.   Fourthly, the person exerts a greater effort to promote the INTEREST of the location of his or her treasure, example; one's place of work.

5.   Finally, a chunk of the person's THOUGHTS or attention is often directed towards the location of his or her treasure.

In a nutshell, there is, always, a positive correlation between the interest a person has in the location of his or her treasure, and the general attitudes the one exhibits towards the location of his or her treasure.

Location of Treasures and Eternity:

By using the aforementioned insights, it must be quite easy for a everyone to identify the location of his or her treasures, whether they are on this earth or Heaven; and consequently, also to know, without doubt, his or her final eternal destination – in the world beyond.

It is for this reason that, the Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, said in Luke 12:34;

"For where your treasure is , there will your heart be also." Luke 12:34.

Question:

A.        The crucial question, then, is; "Is it possible for a person to store his or her TREASURE at a location where he or she has NOT YET OPENED AN ACCOUNT, example a bank?"

Providing an honest answer to this question, with eternity in focus, is of supreme importance.

Earthmen, with alacrity, open an account on earth, enabling them to store treasures. But, what percentages of mortals remember to apply the same principle to the world beyond? - This is the greatest concern of the loving 'old man' above.

Ironically, Earthmen, after all their toils and hard work, soon abandon their fat earthly treasures, to the 'mercy' of others, and depart to eternity – a place where, pathetically, they cannot 'boast' of having any personal account, let alone, accumulating treasures in it. For this reason, about 2000yrs ago, a piece of advice was given to mortals, which is still, and will forever remain, valid. God's Son, Jesus Christ, said Matt 6:20;

"But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 6:21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." Matthew 6:20

It is in the light of the above scripture that I am prompted to ask YOU some personal questions, although it might seem a bit unpalatable to you:

Question:

B.        How much of your time, energies, and resources, etc goes to promote God's Kingdom or God's interests on this earth.

Almighty Question:

Here, then, follows the almighty question;

C.        Where are your TREASURES being located now?

1.    Are they in the land; where there are armed robbers or in the land where no armed robbers exist?

2.    Are they in the land; where men grow old, or in the land where men never grow old?

3.    Are they in the land; where men soon depart from, or in the land where men never depart from?

4.    Are they in the land; where security is provided by man, or in the land where God himself provides the security?
