Dufus - Seth Faergolzia of Dufus says "You
may or may not know me, I’m Seth Faergolzia.
2015 marks my 20th year
as a recording / touring musician.
A great milestone.
I’ve been
putting out albums, booking tours and performing, all independently and
with great effort.
It’s a wearing lifestyle which, though I do enjoy
because I get to meet tons of cool people and go all over the world, I
feel like it has made me unable to really give my art the focus I
believe it deserves, so I swore off of touring for a minimum of one
year.
During this year I will finish up some projects which have been
shelved for too long, including my puppet rock opera 23 Psaegz and my
#100songs project.
In order to make this work, I’ve set up this website
faergolzia.com with the help of the Self Agency, where my fans can
subscribe for as little as one dollar a month and get brand new material
from me each week!
I’ll be releasing one new song every week for all
of 2015.
I’ve spent the last 4 months writing like mad to get #100songs
completed, and now I will begin to record, produce, mix and release
them, one brand new track each week.
#100songs narrowed down to the
best 50.
After that, it will be up to the subscribers to decide which
of those 50 songs gets put on the album which I’ll release at the end of
the year.
You get to help me make an album!
The subscription service
will also include a members only blog in which I’ll ask you for your
input on songs, lyrics, artwork and everything else involved in my
public artist’s life.
You will allow me to thrive as an artist
by subscribing to this site.
It will be like days of old when kingdoms
would act as patrons to gifted creators, but it’s way cooler because
we’re all just people!
We don’t have to go to the king and ask his
permission, we can create as we see fit!
It will act as an actual
salary for me, which is something I’ve never had.
I have always had to
live from tour to tour, show to show, cd sale to cd sale… predictable
income means I can focus on the writing and production, hone my craft
and really make a masterpiece.
I’ll finally be allowed to be a composer
instead of a performer!
I hope you’ll support this in any way you can.
I can guarantee, this year of music will be one of my best if not THE
best.
Thanks as always." Subscribe today:

2000 TC was written by John Higgs to mark The Cosmic Trigger play and festival performance in Liverpool. It is the story of TC Lethbridge,
who played their first gig after the play – 23
years after they formed.
2000 TC is an album recorded by TC Lethbridge in Avebury 20 years ago. It was remastered by the same person who remastered the recent Led Zeppelin reissues.
The voice on the 2000 TC track Bou Saada
is that of Brian Barritt. He makes an appearance in the book Cosmic
Trigger, when Timothy Leary tells Robert Anton Wilson that he needs to
talk to Brian if they are to both understand Aleister Crowley.
John Higgs said “This is a story about people who’ve had some form of
visionary or incomprehensible experience, and about how they can only
move on and process what happened to them through a creative act. It is about the impact an uncompleted artistic project can have on a life. It
also functions as a jigsaw piece, connecting the story in my Timothy
Leary book to the one I tell in The KLF.
So, yeah, it had to be written.
No doubt it will be made more widely
available at some point, in some format, in some way, should the band
keep gigging and putting themselves about. But until then – more about
the band here.”
John Higgs is the author of ' Our Pet Queen,' ' The KLF: Chaos, Magic and the Band who Burned A Million
Pounds' and ' I Have America Surrounded: The Life of Timothy Leary'. John also
writes fiction (as JMR Higgs) including The Brandy of the Damned and
The First Church on the Moon.

"John
Sinclair - renegade poet, scholar and cultural revolutionary.....an
Archetype of the 1960's art, music and literary synthesis, still kicking
with both feet on his trajectory for cultural transformation. Mohawk
features ten tracks from his book of verse: always know: a book of monk.
Beatnik poems, great odes and personal reflections of the Be-Bop jazz
persuasion, all flowering together."
John Sinclair is best known as the Sixties "marijuana" activist who was sentenced to 10 years in prison for giving two joints to an undercover policewoman. He was eventually freed when John Lennon and Yoko Ono spoke out on his behalf.
Less understood is his role as the founder and chairman of the radical anti-war group, The White Panther Party, an offshoot of the Black Panthers. The Black Panther Party was a militant political organization formed after the brutal murders of Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Robert Kennedy.
The Nixon Administration and the FBI launched a secret program called COINTELPRO to disrupt and ultimately destroy the Black Panthers and the Anti-War movement. As part of this program, John Sinclair was set up and imprisoned on marijuana charges. When the government could no longer justify denying him a bond over two joints, they falsely charged him with a Federal conspiracy to blow up a CIA station, in order to make him disappear. Worth a watch: White Panther - The Legacy of John Sinclair
“The Revolution is totally committed to bringing people out of their shells and into each others arms. The music is the source and effect of our spirit flesh and we demand a free music and a free high energy source that will drive us wild into the streets.....yelling and screaming and tearing down everything that would keep people slaves” – John Sinclair
Police Bastard - "Confined" distributed by Cargo and released through reliable channels from October 6th 2014.
“Thought-provoking
monologues and confrontational lyrics bring you on a cold, doom-laden
journey of perpetual war, psychological mind control and
disillusionment.”
