Is there a workaround for this error?  It's what happens on the first step.  Looks like a change in Google's policy about this resource.

index.html:1 Access to XMLHttpRequest at 'https://www.google.com/finance/historical?q=MSFT&authuser=0&output=csv' from origin 'http://localhost:8000' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

Indeed it seems that the Google Finance API has changed (or removed?) and no longer works as expected. I don't know of any work-around yet. We should look for an alternative to get the codelab working again.

Providing fake data so that the codelab can fall back to, in case whatever remote API we end up using stops working, sounds like a good idea to me.
