Saturday May 28: Toronto Animal Rights and Vegan Expo (TARVE) - Free!
Queen St. and John St. (right at CTV/Bell Media building), 11am - 10pm
First year of TARVE - their mission is to present vegan living – a kind and compassionate lifestyle, to create a world without suffering and slaves (neither humans nor other animals) and a place of freedom and justice for all. www.tarve.ca
Love & Rage will be tabling the event.
Sunday May 29: Toronto Anarchist Black Cross Letter Writing Night - Free!
Beit Zatoun - 612 Markham St.6pm - 9pm
Learn about the Green Scare and support eco-prisoners Walter Bond, Marie Mason, Daniel Mcgowan and the UK SHAC 6. Free vegan meal from Toronto Food Not Bombs.
Members of Love & Rage will be speaking about the Green Scare and some of the prisoners.
