When he came out in the drum major's uniform, I didn't believe it was him (though my wife did). I thought he was MUCH shorter than he appeared. Maybe it was just standing next to Madge that made him look taller?

I had the opposite reaction. I didn't realize how short Madonna is. She must be 5'1" or so. She was wearing three or four inch heels and was still tiny.

I prefer Madonna's official video that's what I like to see a whole
football team helping her walk & keeping her upstraight, placing her
feet. Ga-ga's a whole exaggerated movement from Madonna I thinks shes
past her sell by already I'm getting bored with her shes gone too
opera & has more in common musically with Kate the beginning of Time
shifting travellers song & Poker face.
