There's a new Kate Bush video at katebush.com for "Lake Tahoe". The video's got a very DIY look to it. I wonder if Bertie made it.

Good shadow puppetry is anything but DIY Doug. The video is beautiful and wonderfully evocative. A perfect accompaniment for the song.

I have nothing against DIY (refer to the Peter Gabriel song of the same name), and agree that the video is beautiful. (Though I do find the Saran Wrap visible on the back wall a bit distracting.)

That's funny, it's one of the things I like about it, the plastic wrap standing in for wet beaches and water. I can see how it would be distracting to others. Does anyone know much about shadow puppetry? Is it a tradition of the art to use whatever materials are at hand?

Yes its very nice, but why does the house move & shes old I thought
she was preserved.
The table looks like the table the dogs where on in my dream the tower
was white, same eratic movement of the woman, but I had my dream about
3 years ago. That said I like it alot. The feather & voiles are
strange at the end.

Maybe the house is meant to be in the lake, too, in the spirit world?

Sorry but if you want it to make more sense I saw it about a 3 days
before the release of Shutter Island that would date it properly. So
about 2 years ago.

yes but why does it move right? or is it just floating down the lake,
I like the to think its a house in the spirit world as shes in the
lake. And they can move about freely because it sounds like her body
is stuck or tied there perhaps.
