Hello fellow fans :D

I've made it my LONG mission to compile every Kate Bush song...
And put chords to it.

I'm doing a very successful job- I just received sheet music for The
Red Shoes and Aerial.
Lionheart+The Kick Inside are currently posted on my website

FYI: These are from a select few the pages of the sheet music books
(as requested by various people over the years) and I believe I have
all the chords/sheetmusic books of every album (which means I don't
have the various non-album songs).

So they're the most difficult.
The entire Red Shoes should be posted by the end of the week,
And then I'm off to Hounds of Love.
I don't own the Dreaming and only have a few chords for those songs
(Suspended, Pull Out)
So help with The Dreaming and B Sides would be LOVELY

I just booked myself a practice studio down here in FL, since I didn't drive my keyboard down with me... I really want to work on figuring out Ne T'en Fuis Pas and adapting it for piano. I think I could do something really interesting with it.

There were sheet music for Kate songs on Keyboard Magazine (Japan).
They are transcriptions by the magazine's writers.

I have;
- Rubberband Girl, full band score
- Moments of Pleasure, piano score

Hi musicians!

I am in search for the melody notes for "The Jig of Life" as I would
like to play the violin on my gitar :)
Once I had the songbook from the "Hounds of Love" album in my hands
and I remember that I stared on these notes, wondering if I ever could
be able to play this. Well, now I am maybe, but I don't have the notes
so if anyone has this book (could not get it anywhere on the web) and
could send me a scan you could really make me happy!!
I recently bought the "K B Complete" and was disappointed cos it has
just the chords and the singmelody in it and even the chords are not
all correct I think.
@Tristan: I could help you in your long mission if you don't own the
"Complete" and write the chords for songs you're missing. As I don't
have a scanner I really have to write, so this could take a little bit
time.
But again: If anyone could please send me a scan of the violin notes
for "The Jig of Life"...!

I don't own the Complete book... Such a thing exists?
I feel now that I've been doing a silly task trying to do many by ear.
And I'm a perfectionist so they all have been as right as I can get
them.

If you could send me anything I'm missing... I would appreciate it.
Plus, if you can't get a copy of the violin parts for Jig of Life,
I've become very (VERY) good at figuring out musical notes and would
love to help.

Yes, it does exist, and I have the book "Kate Bush Complete",
by "International Music Publications", whose address is listed as:
Southend Road, Woodford Green, Essex IG8 8HN, England
but they may have moved or perhaps don't even exist anymore!
It says it was edited by Cecil Bolton, but there's a introduction
by Peter Fitzgerald-Morris!
ISBN 0-86175-413-1

Anyway, a very few of the pages of this, and some of the other books
I've scanned if/when someone wanted to see the melody, chords,
including Jig Of Life.

@Dongray: this is strange, I was on this site yesterday and didn't see
JoL!! Thanks for that.

I must admit that I found the violin notes hidden in the singing notes
in the "Complete"-book also yesterday.

@Tristan: Got my copy from amazon, right now the cheapest is at 53
Euro, so cheap is not the correct word. Got mine for around 25.
It was released in 1987 and includes:
-a chronology ( 9 sides)
-a disco/videography (did you know she sung background for Big Country
on The Seer?)
-all the lyrics seperately
-all the songs alphabetically with chords and melody (including
important instrumental melodies as I found out yesterday ;) )
-all the songs means all the songs, so there's also the single B-
sides!

Though, as mentioned before, I'm not convinced that it is all correct,
but you do get the correct, ehm, Skala, Tonart (I am german, sorry for
my english by the way) and a good basic if you want to go further.


I don't know about your budget, Tristan, but maybe you should think
about buying this one. Although I totally agree that this is a very
good training musically. Done this with almost every theCure-song as I
was young. But didn't manage TheJigOfLife because it's just too fast.
At least for me. Also it's very nice for all those who don't own the
books and want to play KB-songs. Saw your site yesterday and it's just
perfect for these modern times :)

Ok, Tristan. I will try to write the songs from the "Dreaming"-album
and afterwards I can do the same with the Hounds of Love plus
Experiment IV (the other reason I bought the CompleteSongbook).
You will only get the chords, not the lyrics, if that's ok for you.
Out of the CompleteSongbook. As said before, I don't own a scanner,
but I'm going to do the first songs or maybe the whole Dreaming this
weekend.

I picked up this little lady over the weekend. She needs a little love, but I love little side projects... It's a Korg C-15S concert series. A little damage on the board, I'll have to find some parts and bust out the soldering iron, and I'll probably have to rewire and retrofit a sustain pedal... it'll be nice to have a piano in the house again.
