kate-bush.de Defunct Website Questions?

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if any of you had visited this website kate-bush.de ?  It is defunct now.  However, I do see it referenced sometimes about Kate related subjects online.  Like on this thread https://www.guitars101.com/threads/kate-bush-alone-at-my-piano-stu-flac.184770/

I also saw the site URL on DVD menus, like the bootleg United Katedom DVD series--which I have most but not all of (more info here, click "unofficial videos" https://www.katebushcollectibles.com/videos ).  I also saw it on the menu of a Hammersmith DVD menu (transferred from laserdisc).

I'm very interested in what audio/visual contents were on the site.  Was the site a forum?

Side notes, this site is also defunct https://www.this-womans-work.de/  luckily I did get to visit it.  It was a very good resource, disappointed it's gone.  I am working on a website myself.  It's a work in progress and far from finished.  katebush.neocities.org

Never visited that one. For me now days it’s Fish People, Home Ground, and Gaffa Web mainly.

Great to see you trying to bring the videos under one source! I live in hope that one day *someone* will leak the Before the Dawn capture. Even if it’s only raw footage. I remember seeing them setup for it at the venue so it MUST exist somewhere.

The Ninth Wave portion of the concert was already leaked. Is this not from the official video recording?

I guess it could be a fan bootleg, but if so, it was done using a tripod, not a handheld camera.

Yeah, very much a bottleg recording. What I’m talking about is the setup the placed to the very left and another to the very right of the Mezzanine level (I’m assuming there were more cameras, but those were obvious) Even if we only got one point of view as raw footage, that would be great. It was obvious they were going for wide, plus tracking etc for DVD. Maaaaan… what could have been.

the site https://www.this-womans-work.de/ suffered a fatal crash, but Michael Guth (the creator) has replaced it by now with this one: https://www.katebush-a-collection.de/ - similar content, and an absolutely amazing and absolutely huuuge collection he's presenting there.

If you thought you knew about all releases of all albums and even had a fair share of them, get jealous and check it out. It's German, but that shouldn't really matter.

As usual, such a site is never up-to-date, especially if Kate is releasing loads and loads of reissues with marbelled vinyl or (completely) different cover art...

(If you don't feel too bad about facebook, there's also a quite interesting group there, the "Kate Bush Collectors' Group". Michael Guth is the maintainer there as well, but there's lots of other people with too much money for too big collections :-)

It makes me so happy that Michael launched that new site!  I didn't know until now!  And luckily it has the DVDs listed like it did on his old site.  As you guys can tell I love DVDs.

Feels like there's always something new to me about Kate

I have an idea to make a very completist DVD set including Kate interviews.  4 hours each per disc on double-layer DVDs (it has more storage capacity than a normal disc).  This will literally take forever to complete though.  Lol.
