I know of a man from Egypt who performed Ḥajj 32 years ago in his youth. He, at the time, was riding in a nine-passenger vehicle. In the front seats were a husband & wife. Behind them was a woman very old in age who, due to the congestion inside, was in an uncomfortable position, & her age & body’s condition didn’t help the situation any better. So, the man who I know tried to convince the man in the front to switch seats with the old woman so that she could sit up front. He refused, but this man kept on pushing him to do it until he finally accepted. The husband ended up going to the back seat & the old woman was able to sit up front. When the old woman felt relaxed & was able to extend her legs she said to this man, in her local dialect, what means, “May Allāh not prevent you from Ḥajj every year.”
This man has performed Ḥajj until now—& I know him—for 32 years. 32 pilgrimages since she supplicated for him that year! Sometimes a new year comes & the time of Ḥajj approaches, but he doesn’t have the money or even the intention to perform it. Yet, without any notice, he’s led to perform Ḥajj by the blessing of that woman’s supplication.
Subhanallah!
Hazrath Alī (may Allāh be pleased with him) said,
“Allāh has concealed two within two: He has concealed His pleasure in righteous acts, so one does not know which righteous act of his pleases Allāh; & He has concealed His awliyā’ amongst His servants, so one does not know which servant of Allāh is His walī.[friend]”
The point here: perform good deeds ( however tiny they maybe) & desire for them to be sincerely for Allāh’s Sake. Perhaps u’ll do something for someone who is unknown amongst the people—which is better—& his supplications are answered.

Reciting Durood while in Pain
Abdur Raheem bin Abdur Rahmaan (Rahmatullahi Alaihi) says: “Once my arm was injured because of a fall in the bathroom, and it was badly swollen. That night the pain caused me great discomfort. At last my eyes closed and I slumbered a little. In a vision I saw Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) and all I could say was, “Ya Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam).” Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied: “The numerous recitations of durood by you because of the pain in your hand have greatly concerned and worried me. When I awoke I found that the pain had subsided completely and the swelling had disappeared.

↠ TAHIYATUL WUDHU (Nafl prayer after doing Wudu)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radiyallahu 'anhu narrates that once Nabi Sallallahu 'alaihi wasallam asked Hazrat Bilal (Radiyallahu 'anhu) at Fajr Salat:
O Bilal!
Tell me that deed of yours
which is most hopeful (for reward)
after embracing Islam,
for I heard your footsteps in front of me in Paradise
(in my dream).
Bilal (Radiyallahu 'anhu) replied:
I have not done anything extroadinary except that
whenever I perform Wudu during the day or night,
I Salat (Tahiyatul-Wudu) after that,
as much as was written or granted for me.(Bukhari)
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radhiallahu ‘anhu narrated that Allah’s Messenger Shalallahu ‘alaihi wa Salam said to Hazrat Bilal Radhiallahu ‘anhu “Tell me about the most hopeful act (i.e one which you deem the most rewarding with Allah) you have done since your acceptance of Islam because I heard the sound of the steps of your shoes in front of me in paradise.†Bilal said : “I do not consider any act more hopeful than that whenever I make ablution (wudoo) at any time of night or day, I offer (prayer) for as long as was destined for me to offer.†Narrated by Al-bukhari and Muslim.
After completion of the wudhu of two Rakaats is full of blessings (sawaab). It is related in the Hadith that performance of the two Rakaats of Tahiyatul wudhu Namaaz makes paradise obligatory (wajib) for the performer (ref:Muslim Sharif) There are also many other benefits.
It should not be performed during the Improper (makruh) times. (When the sun rises, when it is at Zenith and when it sets.)

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whoever prays Fajr Prayer in congregation, and then sits and remembers ﺂللَّــہ until the sun rises, and then prays 2 rak’aats, he will gain a reward equal to that of performing a perfect, perfect, perfect Hajj and Umrah.”
[The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم repeated 'complete' three times for emphasizing]."

Desirability of Entering the Mosque near one's Home upon returning from a Journey for offering two Rak'ah Prayer:
Ka`b bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ) returned from a journey, he would proceed straight to the mosque and perform two Rak`ah of (optional) prayer.[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].
Commentary:
The performance of two Rak`ah of optional prayer is an expression of gratitude to Allah for the safe return. Naturally, one feels happy on such an occasion.
