A person does not show his actions to the creation, except due to his ignorance of the Greatness of the Creator.
Ibn Rajab – ‘Kalimat ul-Ikhlaas’ 31

 O Allah! Grant me your love and the love of that person whose love will benefit me by you.

====================

When sighting the new moon

Dua at the time of sighting the moon:

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ هَذَا

"I seek refuge in Allah from this (its) evil."
Dua when sighting the new moon:

اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالْيُمْنِ وَالْإِيمَانِ وَالسَّلَامَةِ وَالْإِسْلَامِ وَالتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَتَرْضَى رَبِّي وَرَبُّكَ اللَّهُ

"O Allah, let this moon (month) pass over us with blessings, Iman, safety, and in the belief of Islam. Grant us the ability to act on the actions that You love and Pleases You. (O moon) My Lord and Your Lord is Allah".

(Hisnul Hasin from Ibn Habban)

=====================
Ponder!!

One should think and ponder before uttering any word or carrying out any action. Through thinking and pondering before doing any deed one will save oneself from errors and mistakes.

====================
Sayyidina Rasullullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam said: "The People of Paradise will not regret anything except one thing alone: the hour that passed them by in which they made no remembrance of Allah." (Bayhaqi)
===================
Abu Hurayrah Radhiyallahu Anhu reports that Rasulullah Salallahu Alayhi Wasallam said:
“Whosoever eats on one day of Ramadhaan without a valid reason or excuse or genuine illness (acceptable in Shari-ah), shall never be able to compensate for that day even by fasting the rest of his life.”
[Ahmad, Tirmizhi, Abu Dawood and Ibn Majah]

..::..Ramadan Resolutions..::..

Anger is an emotion that Allah azza wa jal created us with. It often leads to regrettable consequences and unhappiness as well as affecting our imaan. Controlling one’s anger earns the pleasure of Allah and is a test of good character.

Insha Allah I will become conscious of myself in my state of anger and ask myself if being momentarily angry is worth the regret I will feel on the day of judgement when my record will be given to me read. I will call upon Allah to give me strength to overcome my anger. I will say A’oothu Billahi Minash Shaytaannir Rajeem (I seek refuge with Allah from Shaytaan the outcast) with conviction. I will try to implement this hadith of our Prohet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم into my life:

It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه that a man said to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) “Advise me.” He said: “Do not get angry.” He repeated his question several times and he (the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم)  said: “Do not get angry.”

Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5765.

Ramadaan Reminder ~ Deprivation of Allah’s Mercy in the Month of Ramadaan

One needs to regularly conscientise oneself of the significance, the purpose, the great rewards of Ibaadah during this sacred month to derive maximum benefit from its Blessings.

It has been mentioned in a narration:

… for the unfortunate one is he who is deprived in (this month) of the Mercy of Allah, the Mighty, the Exalted.”~ [Tabarani]
===
Ulema have stated that there are three categories of people in Ramadaan :

1- Those who welcome Ramadaan with open arms and value every moment of it.

2 - Those who fast and perform Taraweeh with a sigh of reluctance, and their eyes are always focussed on the calendar ... waiting for the end of Ramadaan.

3- Those who show total indifference to the month of Ramadaan. Who do not fast nor pray at all.
...
Let us not be amongst the most unfortunate, wretched, unlucky people, whom the month of Ramadaan comes and goes by and they fail to seek forgiveness from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala. Such people are cursed by Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. He expressed word 'BA'DUA' ... May the one who fails to seek forgiveness during Ramadaan be kept "far away" from the Mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.

Let it not happen that the month of Ramadaan comes and goes by and we fail to gain from the treasures of Allah Ta’ala’s Mercy ...
