Hadrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddiq (Radi Allahu Anhu) narrates that the beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said,
اغد عالما أو متعلما أو مستمعا أو محبا ، ولا تكن الخامس فتهلك
Get up in the morning in a state that you be an Aalim or a student (of the sacred knowledge) or one who listens to the words of an Aalim or one who loves and respects the Ulama. Do not be in the fifth state (other than the above four) because you will be destroyed.

Safar al-Muzaffar -
﷽ - الصــلوة والسلام عليك يارسول الله ﷺ
Safar al-Muzaffar is the second month of the Islamic calendar. Literal meaning of Safar is empty. During this month the houses used to be empty and deserted because the ban on going to war in the month of Muharram came to an end and everyone proceeded towards the battlefield.
Safar also means to be yellow. When the names of the months were being given it was the season of autumn and the leaves of the trees were yellow.
Many people have erroneous beliefs regarding this month i.e. it is a month of misfortune and calamities. The teachings of Allah Ta'ala and His Most Beloved Rasool (SallAllahu Alaihi wa Sallam) gives us clear guidelines on such incorrect beliefs.
Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) says in the Qur'an al-Kareem:
ما أصاب من مصيبة إلا بإذن الله
"No misfortune befalls except by Allah’s command..." [Surah Tagabun, Verse 11]
These erroneous beliefs have also been condemned in the context of the following Ahadith:
لا عدوى ولا طيرة ولا هامة ولاصفر
There is no superstitious owl, bird, no star-promising rain, no bad omen in the month of Safar. [Sahih Bukhari, Hadith 5707]
لا عدوى ولا صفر ولا غول
There is no bad omen in the month of Safar and no Ghouls (evil spirits). [Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2222]
The above Ahadith clearly refutes all incorrect beliefs and superstitions regarding the month of Safar. These incorrect beliefs flow from the pre-Islamic period of Jahiliyyah (ignorance).

On the Day of Qiyamah, there would be such great abundance of mercies and favors, yet there will be some who will exercise the lack of it. It is recorded in the Hadith Sharif that a person will be ordered to go to Jannah. He will want to go but the one who will demand his right will stop him. This person will say, “Oh Allah! Grant me my rights from this brother of mine.” Allah will order all the good deeds of the person to be given to fulfill the complainant’s rights. Though all the good deeds will be given, but the rights will not be fulfilled.
However, the complainant will again demand his rights. Allah will order all the bad deeds of the complainant to be put on the accused for repayment. This will be done, but the rights will still not be fulfilled. The complainant will again demand his rights from his fellow Muslim brother whereupon Allah will say, “You were given all his good deeds and all your bad deeds were loaded upon him. Now what does he have for you to take?” The complainant will still persist, “Oh Allah! Grant me the balance of my rights.”
Almighty Allah will order the Angels to elaborately decorate a Palace and bring it forward from Jannah. Everyone will be astonished by it’s splendor and beauty. Allah will then say, “I am selling this Palace. Is there anyone to buy it?” The complainant will say, “Oh My Lord! Who has the wealth to buy this?” Allah will reply, “But you have the value!” He will say in amazement, “And what is that my Lord?” The command will be, “The price is to pardon your brother, hold his hand and go to Jannah.” [At-Targhib wat-Tarhib, Vol. 3, Page 247, Hadith 3768]

A Young Man's Fear of Allah
One day, Malik bin Dinar (rahimaullah) was passing by a place when he noticed a young man wearing old clothes and crying by the roadside. His name was Uthbah. Sweat was dripping down his body even though the temperature was very cold at that time. Malik bin Dinar became very surprised at this scene and asked Uthbah, "Oh young man, why are you crying? And why are you sweating during this cold temperature?"
Uthbah replied, "Once, I committed a sin at this place. Today, as I was passing by this place, I remembered that sin."

Look how pious were the early Muslims. Today, we are committing thousands of sins, yet, we are walking around with happiness and joy as if we have nothing to worry about.

Anas bin Malik that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “The greatest reward comes with the greatest trial. When Allah loves a people He tests them. Whoever accepts that wins His pleasure but whoever is discontent with that earns His wrath.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Vol. 5, Book 36, Hadith 106)

The blessed perspiration of Huzoor e Paak (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)possessed a sweet smelling fragrance.
Sayyiduna Umme Salim رضي الله عنها , the mother of Sayyiduna Anas رضي الله عنها , said that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) used to go to the house of Sayyiduna Umme Salim رضي الله عنها to make Qailula (rest after lunch).
Sayyiduna Umme Salim رضي الله عنها used to lay for him a bedspread made from skin. He used to lie on that skin and he perspired very much.
Sayyiduna Umme Salim رضي الله عنها used to collect the blessed perspiration of Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) and mix it in perfume.
The Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) asked, "O Umme Salim! What is this?"
She said, "Ya Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam)! It is your blessed perspiration. I mix it in my perfume because your blessed perspiration is the best perfume amongst all perfumes."
