Hi Lovd,

I'm thinking of downloading the social network software - Lovd - and
wanted to know where the subscribers' data will be stored? Is Lovd
actually a server as well or I need to look for a host?

Do you require any particular computer capacity to run Lovd?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Besides a few configuration challenges initially, I had no problem running lovd on my Mac & at Hostgator. I think it should be at http://pakbook.PK

Some challenges need to be noted before u commit to an ISP. My terminology may be wrong - haven't played with it in a year or two - but I recall Hostgator refused to run the required code/gem that lovd uses for search as it is a resource hog. They would only install it on a much higher level cost plan.

Check with your ISP that they will support all dependencies & required code/utilities. Thanks & good luck.
