I won't be able to make sat meets at all this monday. I have a
marching band competition every saturday.

So nobody believes in sat meetups any more or not at least at the
normal place. lol - did go last week
whent early but stayed till 6:15 had to go. its getting chilly so
there arnt as many kids. o well- maybe we need to find a different
place- I really do like the park though. it is open till 11 i have
been known to go at 10:15 ish after work. theres no one its great.
but it is kinda dark lol. soo precisions are out. any way thought
that i would send out the question- whats up? any new spots?

I normally show for Saturday sessions, just I was out of town this
last Saturday. People haven't been showing on Saturdays much, just me
and 1-2 other people typically, I can only assume people are still
getting use to their new Fall schedules and the like.

yeah... out of town, still am, and won't be making tonight's U of L meet up either.  I will try to be there this coming saturday.  don't give up hope.  dress accordingly.  and i can't wait to see you all soon

i showed up late, 6:30, no one was there.  but sticks showed up at 7 and we had a really good session.  it was perfect weather, quite a few little kids, but not bad.  sticks found some awesome new lines... can't wait for next week.

my toe is pretty screwed up, but healing fast.  So I won't be showing up for today's meetup.  don't want to make it worse.  You should see it, it's all bruised at the joints.  maybe by wednesday, i'll keep you all updated

uhh... i'm not in "no matter the weather," lol. if it's raining... see, i'm FINALLY to the point where my knee is back to normal and would not like to hurt myself again so soon. rain means i'm a no-show. and since there's a 60-70% chance... we'll see. i'll still go to open gym on sunday though, if other people go. uofl's gymnastics club meets there at 3pm anyway.

im not down with - Snow - and cold - thats ok but not wet. I konw
that you could argue that snow means wet and it does some times. But
ya its a bit different. Anyway we will see is a good answer.

Well, what are you guys gonna do if you're being chased in the rain?  You'll be completely unprepared.  That's what.  It may be slow in the rain, but it would be really good for the brain... take things slow, overcome our obstacle in a new way to account for the slipperiness.  Think about it....

Who are you planning on having to run from? I'm in this for fun, not beause I think I might have to use these skills for survival... I they ever so come in handy, great, but I'm not going to risk hurting my knee again for  something like this.

It was just an attempt to talk you into coming no matter what.  I am not trying to get you hurt.  But, I often imagine I am getting chased, but never really expect to be chased.  It is a fun exercise in certain environments to find new lines through the space.  Paths that would actually be hard enough to challenge us but too hard for someone who might be chasing us.  To know our skills could have a practical use. 

Actually, I always wear shoes just in case I need to all the sudden run off somewhere.  I know that sounds a little ridiculous, but I also climb a tree everyday and I just like to be prepared.  I'm not paranoid, I just like keeping my options open for practicing or climbing anytime, anywhere.  And it just seems smart to be prepared for all conditions. 

That's it, if you don't come out cause it's raining, I understand.

I haven't been able to go to any meetings ever. Ha. Me and some friends just practice after school at his house. lol we suck.

That's all right if you can't make it, but if you ever can, Wednesday
meet-ups would probably be the best place to start. We usually get a
better turnout then.

We had a nice jam tonight though, just me Jeremy and Mike. It started
off a little unfocused but we found some really cool underbars and
just started making combinations. Mike also came up with the idea of
doing a line at the very end of each meet-up. I think it'd be reallly
if we started doing that; build some endurance.

Sounds like you guys had a good time.  Sorry I couldn't be there, family in town.  I like the idea of the line at the end.  We'll be sure to do that. 

Wednesday night in unlikely for me due to thanksgiving the next day, but we'll see.  I'll post later this week

Does anyone want to change the Sat time to something earlier than 6pm since it gets dark at that time now?  Something like 3, or 4, or anytime when we would have light for a few hours.

That was great fun, and quite exhausting last night. I'd say the first
LPK parkour-tag session went quite well, we need to do that more often.

I emailed it to you right after i posted - i didnt think you had it...
i whent out but over by the fountains and joe's crab shack. im not
sure what time it was when i left but - hurt my knee. Im doing
better - i could walk
but no running and stairs were bad. But now stairs are ok. soo ya a
week or 2 and ill be back to normal.

I was hopping from pole to pole and squated down on one leg really far
on the landing and it made my knee pop pretty bad. it sounded like
biteing in to and apple. ya not good. but like i said im doing better
now. just gunna take it easy.
